Privacy Policy

Effective date: 10 September 2026

Last updated: 10 September 2026

Amore Medix Medical Group PLLC ("Amore Medix," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at www.amoremedix.com (the "Site"), how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

By using our Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

An important note about your health information (HIPAA)

Amore Medix is a healthcare provider. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information collected through our website — for example, when you fill out a contact form, subscribe to messages, or browse the Site.

It is not our Notice of Privacy Practices. Protected health information (PHI) that we create or receive in the course of providing medical care is governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state law, and is described in our separate Notice of Privacy Practices. If you have questions about how your medical information is handled during treatment, please ask us for a copy of that Notice or contact us using the details below.

Please do not submit detailed medical information, symptoms, or other sensitive health details through website contact forms or by text message, as these channels are not intended for confidential clinical communication.

Information we collect

Information you provide to us

We collect information you choose to give us directly, which may include:

  • Your name, phone number, and email address

  • Any information you include in a message when you contact us or request an appointment

  • Your mobile number and consent status if you opt in to receive text messages from us

When you book an appointment, you may be directed to a third-party scheduling and patient portal service (PatientFusion). Information you enter there is collected and handled under that provider's own privacy terms, not this policy.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information may be collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • Your device type, browser, and operating system

  • Your approximate location (derived from IP address)

  • Pages you view, links you click, and how you arrived at and move through the Site

  • General usage and performance data

Our Site is built on the Wix platform, and Wix collects and processes some of this data to operate and secure the Site. You can learn more in Wix's own privacy documentation.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and requests

  • Schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments

  • Send you text messages you have opted in to receive

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site

  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can make it better

  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to receive text messages from Amore Medix — for example, for appointment reminders or replies to your inquiry — the following applies:

  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.

  • Message frequency varies.

  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. You can get help by replying HELP.

  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or purchasing any service.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site functioning, remember your preferences, and understand Site usage. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings; note that some parts of the Site may not work properly if cookies are disabled. Where we use analytics tools, they help us measure traffic and improve the Site's performance and content.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. With trusted vendors who perform services on our behalf — such as our website platform (Wix) and appointment/scheduling providers (PatientFusion) — and only to the extent needed to perform those services.

  • Legal requirements. When required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Amore Medix, our patients, or others.

  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Sharing of protected health information for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations is governed by HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this website policy.

Third-party links and services

The Site contains links to third-party services, including our booking portal (PatientFusion). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party before providing your information to them.

Data security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain personal information collected through the Site for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Medical records are retained according to the requirements of HIPAA and applicable state law.

Your choices and rights

You may:

  • Update your information by contacting us with corrections.

  • Opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message.

  • Manage cookies through your browser settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information under applicable state law. To make a request about the information we hold, contact us using the details below, and we will respond as required by law.

Rights concerning your medical records are addressed under HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided us information through the Site, please contact us so we can remove it. (This does not affect our provision of pediatric or family care, which is handled through our clinical processes and governed by HIPAA and applicable law.)

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Changes are effective when posted on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
